Shiny new contract!

I'm thrilled to have received a contract for No Strings Neighbor from The Wild Rose Press. What a lovely way to brighten a January day. Here's the blurb:

Can a no-strings fling with her sexy, laid-back neighbor take a workaholic accountant’s mind off impending financial ruin?

Faced with losing her home, her job and the stability she’s craved since her nomadic childhood, the last thing Ellie Winters needs is an irresponsible new neighbor whose intentions are far from honorable. But as her situation deteriorates, Ellie needs a distraction. Soon she's in danger of adding another loss to her list—her heart.

Veterinarian Greg Buchanan is finally on his way to Africa to fulfil his dream. He’s sold his partnership, applied for his visa, and when his house/dog-sitting stint is through he can wave goodbye to the responsibilities that have tied him down. But one night with his sexy neighbor and Greg realizes that his problems have only just begun.

Happy 2009!

Wishing everyone a safe, healthy, prosperous and happy 2009. Let's hope the new year brings some positive energy along with it.

Mine started pretty well and I've returned from a fabulous Christmas/New Year in France to find that A Temporary Arrangement has hit the publisher's bestseller list. It's currently at No.5 at The Wild Rose Press. The print version was also released on 2 January and is now available from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk

Later today, I'm going to (belatedly) write out my goals for the year with timescales attached, while polishing off the last of the chocolates. Which means that topping the goals list might be that old chestnut ... losing weight.
